Vacuum Viewports

Vacuum Viewports

A vacuum viewport is a window or opening in a vacuum chamber or other vacuum system that allows you to see inside the system. It is typically made of a transparent material, such as glass or acrylic, that is able to withstand the vacuum pressure. The vacuum viewport may be sealed with an O-ring or other sealing mechanism to prevent leaks. Some viewports also have a flange or other mounting hardware to allow them to be easily installed in the vacuum chamber. Vacuum viewports are often used in scientific, industrial, and medical applications to allow researchers or operators to monitor the inside of a vacuum system, or to provide a means of access for instruments or other devices.

Adesis manufactures a range of competitively priced UHV viewports in CF, ISO or KF formats including a variety of coatings to enhance performance. Materials include Kodial (borosilicate glass), Quartz, Sapphire, MgF2, BaF2, CaF2, ZnSe, CVD diamond and Lead Glass.
